Our client has an opening for a Fund Control Accounting Manager that will allow the opportunity to interact with Trading, Operations, Business Unit Control, Investor Relations and Fund Administration personnel on a regular basis. This individual would be an integral part of the firm’s internal control and management reporting framework.
The position provides high visibility to various trading groups and exposure to a variety of hedge fund strategies and financial products employed therein. He or she will be expected to become familiar with the various trading strategies and financial products through on-the-job learning, informal discussions with traders, risk management and operational personnel, and external courses.
Fund Control will liaise with operations, external fund administrators and prime brokers to assist and ensure accuracy of both trading and non-trading components, net asset value and performance reporting. He or she must obtain an understanding of the transaction process and support Risk Management and Investor Relations.
